Terra Flamma at Eric Marsh Foundation!
I am excited that the Terra Flamma book will be helping out the Eric Marsh Foundation for Wildland Firefighters, started by Amanda Marsh after 19 firefighters from the Granite Mountain Hotshot wildland fire crew in Prescott, Arizona, were lost in the line of duty at the Yarnell Hill Fire in 2013. Amanda is the widow of crew superintendent Eric Marsh, and runs the foundation helping firefighters who are injured or battling PTSD, and the families of those who have fallen since. They run an awesome store to raise funds for the foundation in Prescott , and recently they started carrying my book.
It’s a true honor to support them and getting to know the work that the EMF does. I make it a goal to donate a portion of all print proceeds to a wildland fire related foundation, and for the remainder of 2018 and for 2019 I will be making the donations to the EMF.
As a foundation run by those who have experienced trauma and loss themselves their work is genuine and from the heart. If you’d like an individually signed copy of my book, you can get a copy from them!
Also in order to focus on my new projects in the field and to spend more time with family after fire season, I will be phasing out availability of signed Terra Flamma books directly from me as standalone copies at the end of 2018.* The EMF will be a place where you can still get a standalone signed copy of Terra Flamma, all while supporting an incredible cause that’s near and dear to my heart.
We have a round of Santa Ana Winds coming up in SoCal and Red Flag Warnings all over NorCal, so be safe out there. - SP
*I have a limited amount of standalone signed copies left and you’ll be able to purchase the book with a print going forward over the holidays.
